FAQ

What is your current role?

I am currently in a supervised training context at Connection Therapy Center. The working public title for this site is Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, subject to CTC, SeattleU, and supervisor review. If that wording needs to be more conservative, this site should use Seattle University MACFT intern instead.

Can I work with you?

Current clinical questions should go through my CTC profile. This site is informational and does not offer a separate contact, waitlist, or consultation path yet.

Is this site part of Connection Therapy Center?

No. This is Alejandro Hidalgo's professional informational site. Connection Therapy Center is the current supervised training and clinical context referenced here. The CTC profile remains the appropriate external profile for current clinical questions.

Do you only write about men's therapy?

No. Men's work is an emerging clinical focus, but the site also includes grief, relationship strain, premarital and marital therapy questions, family therapy, adolescents and teens, identity, direction, and online therapy in Washington. The homepage stays intentionally broad so the work is not reduced to one doorway.

Do you work with premarital, marital, family, adolescent, or teen concerns?

Yes, these are part of the clinical interests described on this site. I think systemically about couples, families, adolescents, and teens, while still keeping current clinical questions routed through my CTC profile rather than through a separate intake path here.

Are you certified in Discernment Counseling?

No. I have studied discernment counseling and may draw from its structure when working with couples who are unsure whether to stay together, separate, or commit to a focused period of repair. I am not certified in Discernment Counseling, and I do not present this as a formal Discernment Counseling service.

Do you offer online therapy in Washington?

The online therapy page explains telehealth fit and limits in Washington. It should not be read as a separate availability promise through this site. Current clinical questions should go through the CTC profile.

Will this site change later?

Yes. Public wording may change as training, supervision, credential status, and future practice details change. Updates should be made carefully so the site stays accurate.
